*MOVIE BUZZ*
Yes, I saw Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. With another Potter fanatic. It was lovely. What I liked:
* Percy's bed hair.
* The Scabbers Cup.
* Ron's squeaky voice. "Can we panic now?" (I noticed Rupert Grint's height changed throughout the movie... sometimes he was the same height as Daniel Radcliffe and sometimes he was taller...)
* How Harry was patting Ron's back when he was burping slugs. XD
* Tall Draco. "Scared, Potter?"
* Dueling Snape. And how he grabbed Malfoy and pushed him back to duel Harry again. >:D
* Dobby... I liked Dobby...
* Lucius Malfoy and his "hello? hello? anybody home?" ((c) Back to the Future) cane. And his ribbon, of course.
* How Mr. Malfoy and Tom both brushed Harry's bangs out of the way to reveal his scar with their wands (or wand-cane).
* Moaning Myrtle was cute!!!
* When Tom was disintegrating after Harry stabbed the diary. He was sexy. (I told that to Ryuuen-chan and she called me a sadist)
* How the whole movie was Harry x Hermione until the very end when it was Ron x Hermione. <--(I'm a RxH fan)
What happened to...:
* The line "I'm going to sit here and watch you die, Harry Potter."?
* Lockhart's Valentine Day?
* Mr. Malfoy and Mr. Weasley's fighting scene?
* Professor Binns?
It was wonderful, though. I'd go see it again.

Right before my mother flew to Japan to visit my grandparents, she called my Tokyo apartment to see if I wanted anything from home. I requested some dental floss, because the price of floss is just obscene in Japan!! ....but my mother brought me CHEESE from the States instead. ....I don't see how floss and cheese are related at all, but anyway, I ended up with a Ziploc bag full of Fontina, Gouda, and Brie.
So, today, all I was thinking about was different ways to prepare cheese. This morning I surfed the Web for cheese recipes while I was eating some of the Brie for breakfast. While I was teaching a class, I was thinking about a good pasta recipe I found on a website. This was a very stupid thing to do, because during the lesson, I accidentally blurted out "Cheese!" when I was supposed to be saying "Saucepan!" ...Fortunately, the lesson was about cooking vocabulary, so my student didn't think I was cuckoo. I would hate to imagine what would've happened if it was a lesson about checking in at a airport or something...
November obsessions:
--Cheese: See above.
--Summon Night: Cute SRPG! I like Leid...
--SeiyouKottouYougashiten (Yoshinaga Fumi): It makes me want to go raid patisseries!!!! Chigake is my favorite...
A couple more days until I can go see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets!

I'm unable to sleep. I had five chocolate and coffee cookies before going to bed....
I'm seeing a lot of English Gensosuikoden III rants on the internet now! I'm glad it got released in the U.S. so quickly... XD I saw the "true" ending a while ago. To tell you the truth, though, I enjoyed playing the game, but the ending was.... *cough* .... T_T;;; I actually like the prequels better...

Tuesday, November 12, 2002 - 10:10 a.m.
Either I'm wearing unstable shoes or I have something wrong with my inner ear, because I slipped and fell AGAIN. This time it happened when I was going down an escalator. The last time I tripped while I was descending a flight of stairs (about 3 years ago), one of my shoes flew off my foot and hit the back of a stranger who was in front of me. And this time, it happened AGAIN. T_T# Aaaaargh!!!Fortunately, I was not hurt (and neither was the woman who was attacked by my shoe), but I haven't recovered from the humiliation yet...
The Harry Potter boom is still continuing at work:
Co-worker A (female): I'm gonna have a date with Harry tonight.
Co-worker B (female): Harry's gonna be in bed with me tonight!! I have him an hour every night!!!
Co-worker C (male): I sometimes have Harry two times a night...
(The books, of course.) >:D
