A while ago, I dumped out a whole bottle of a grape-flavored soft drink into the sink because it tasted like rubbing alcohol. And that got me thinking, "I've never actually TASTED rubbing alcohol. Why did I think that it TASTED like rubbing alcohol?" ...And I've come to a conclusion. When people compare the taste of food to the taste to unedible objects, they must be referring to the smell or the texture!! For example, whenever people say, "Gross. This tastes like Windex!!" they must be referring to the smell. When people say "Ew. This tastes like cardboard!!" they must be comparing the texture. And when people say "This tastes like poopie!" ...Well, I guess it's just a metaphorical example... By the way, I can literally say that things "tastes like soap," because I have actually tasted soap before... I was curious, okay?

I was happily playing a game on my PSX this afternoon, and suddenly my Analog controller starts shaking!! o_O The game I was playing was not vibration compatible, so the controller had no reason to shake. And it wouldn't stop, either. I panicked and readjusted the controller plug, and it finally stopped. ....I think my PlayStation is possessed...

I'm really tired...... But it is entirely my own fault. I was up late last night playing Harukanaru Toki no nakade, a lovely game my friend gave me... (Thank you, Emily!!!) XD

Haruka is a game released by KOEI and created by Ruby Party, the same people who made the Angelique series. >:D It's an adventure type game and you mostly read and make choices (there are battle scenes, though) The story goes... the protagonist and her two friends get sucked into a well which takes them to Kyoto of the Heian era. The main girl is told that the only way to go back to her own world is to become the Ryuujin no Miko, a priestess who summons the dragon deity and save Kyo. (sounds kinda Fushigi Yuugi-ish, when I put it this way... ^-^;) So, supposedly, the main objective of the game is to be a good Miko and save Kyo, BUT!!! What's more important than your duties is to develop a relationship with the Hachiyou, the eight men who are supposed to protect and support the Miko... >:D

So that's what I've been doing in my free time the past few days. I got an ending with Tenma-kun (one of the two friends who got sucked into the well with the protagonist), Yasuaki-san, and Inori. Still 5 more to go! XD One weird thing is that the protagonist's first name is the same as mine, so whenever Tenma or Inori or Shimon calls the Miko's name (everyone else calls her by her title "Miko" or "Miko-dono") it's kinda nice, actually..... >:D

I finally gave into my urges and got a weblog... I really enjoyed reading other people's blogs and it looked so fun, so... *sheepish look* And I told everyone that I wasn't going to get one. I am such a hypocrite...
