As I said before, I went to Okinawa with a friend. So now, for Okinawa stories and pictures...

DAY ONE: My friend and I departed from Haneda Airport and arrived in Naha Airport. Then we rented a car near the airport and went to Shuri Castle, a monarchial structure of the Ryukyu Kingdom. The castle was painted in red lacquer and was beautiful. (The king's throne in Shuri Castle) Then we drove to Kokusaidori (a busy shopping area) in Naha and ate Soki-soba (flour noodles topped with pork ribs) and Goya chanpuru (stir-fried bitter melon). Okinawan food is a little salty... And then we bought some Okinawan doughnuts for a snack and drove to our hotel.

DAY TWO: We had to get up really early since we had to meet up with a diving instructor at 9:00 AM. Yes, we went scuba diving!! I was really nervous at first... I was afraid that I was going to a) have a oxygen tank malfunction and die, b) be attacked by something poisonous or man-eating and die, or c) have my lungs collapse and die. But nothing horrible happened and it was quite fun. Except after thirty minutes of being underwater, I was quite cold and had to pee really bad... After going scuba diving, we went to Tiger Beach and tried to swim in the cold water but just ended up taking silly pictures of ourselves, pretending we were swimsuit models. *death* After a couple hours on the beach, we drove to a glass factory. We made some little cups out of colored Ryukyuan glass. After escaping the heat of the factory furnaces, we went to Kokusaidori again to have dinner. We bought some Aobudai at the fish market and had it made into sashimi and ankake at the restaurant on the second floor of the market.

DAY THREE: We picked up our cups from the factory - Mine was a little deformed, but I was satisfied. Then we rushed to the airport and flew back to dirty, crowded Tokyo. The End.

Stuff done in March ~ April:

--Dark Chronicle: PS2. Still haven't passed it yet... so addicting!
--Venus & Braves: PS2. Part of it is like FE ~Seisen no Keifu~. Well, not really...
--Favorite Dear: PS. I have a thing for simulation games.
--Kaeru no Ehon: PS. A cute simRPG.
--The Talisman (Stephen King and Peter Straub): Some parts were so gory!
--My Year of Meats (Ruth L. Ozeki): My sister sent it to me and it was really good.

I went to Okinawa last week! It was great fun. I didn't want to come back to Tokyo. Ever.

I think I am cursed or something. Whenever I go on a vacation somewhere in Japan, I encounter penile images. Like this glasswork one, in an Okinawan glass factory in Onna Village. (Why in a glass factory!?) Maybe I should travel around Japan and make a collection of penis photos...

More stuff about Okinawa later!
