I have never, ever seen a shooting star... until last night. In fact, I saw a whole bunch. Yesterday, I heard on the news that there was going to be a meteor shower, but I wasn't planning on staying up for it. It's because in the past, whenever I heard there was supposed to be some kind of celestial show in the sky (i.e. comets) and stayed up, I could never see it, possibly because of light pollution or I was looking in the wrong direction. ~_~; But I definitely saw the Leonid meteor shower last night!! (after being shaken awake by my excited mother...) It's amazing how bits of debris the size of dust can create that much light...
Friday, November 16, 2001 - 10:09 p.m.
I watched the Harry Potter movie today!! Ryuuen-chan got us tickets for the 12:00 P.M. showing at an Edwards Theatre, but we got there at 10:00 A.M.... and got the best seats. >:D But we did have to wait two hours in the theatre, passing time by playing cards and MASH. And for the movie? It was quite lovely. The kids were cute. Hedwig was cute. And Snape. I am now officially a Severus Snape fan.
"Mr. Harry Potter... our new... celebrity."
